Artist Demonstration

SHERIDAN –   Sally LaBore is joining us on August 29th from 11:00am to 2:00 pm.

Sally is an established, well-known artist in our area and we are excited to give you the opportunity to meet see her demonstration of skill.

Victoria is an established artist in our area and we are excited to give you the opportunity to meet see her demonstration of skill.

  • She paints “As I see it” and hopes to evoke an awareness of the beauty that surrounds us. To do this she paints landscapes and animals.

  • Victoria primarily works with acrylics but like all artists, has several mediums she creates with. She has illustrated several books and is very involved in our local Fiber Arts Guild.

  • Victoria’s work is honest and has an air of ranch and farm life sentiment painted into every brush stroke.

Roger Haight!  –  Roger is a very prolific wood carver and has donated his talents to many of the charities in the Sheridan Area.  His work ranges from humorous and whimsical to realistic wildlife and lighthouses.  You name it and he can render it in wood. Roger has been a wonderful influence in the area and invites anyone interested woodcarving to join the Wood Carvers of the Bighorns.  A free group and open to the public.

Come to Expressions on August 15th, and meet Roger and Victoria while they demonstrate their skills and enjoy a cold glass of lemonade.

  • Sally draws much of her inspiration from her horseback rides with friends through the beautiful Big Horns. She seeks to convey the calm and peaceful feelings she gets from being there are hopes you are able to enjoy them too.

  • Sally works in multiple mediums ranging from pastel to watercolor to oil paintings. Her work usually focuses on local sceneries, flora and fauna, portraits and pet portraits.   She has studied with Phyllis Wyatt, Bill Wright, Geoff Parker, Ned Jacobs, Danna Hildebrand and several others.

  • Sally’s Grandaughter, Ellisif has been painting with her over the past few years (I think she is only 3 or 4 now) and has amazing concentration. She spends hours in front of the canvas painting whatever inspires her.

Come to Expressions on August 29th, and meet Sally & Ellisif while they demonstrate their loving artistic relationship.
