Expressions Art Gallery & Framing, LLC is excited to announce that longtime Sheridan resident, educator, and artist will be teaching her longstanding watercolor classes in our gallery this fall.
Participants are required to provide their own materials. The materials list for this class can be downloaded HERE. Register at Expressions, Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Nancy has taught all grade-levels of art students, from kindergarten to college. Nancy retired from Sheridan County School District 2 in 2003 and continues teaching watercolor in the Sheridan area in one capacity or another. Over the years, Nancy has taught more than 17,000 students.
Nancy strongly feels that “teaching art to all ages is my calling.” She really enjoys working with students 16 years old and “UP,” which she jokes means older than her. She welcomes new and experienced artists in the same class because “these experienced people love to help newcomers. We become a positive, family artistic group.”
Nancy has undergraduate degrees in English and Fine Art and master’s degrees in Fine Art and Philosophy. Watercolor is Nancy’s favorite media, but she also enjoys pastels and oils. Nancy’s shows have always included all three.
